I own sooo many cds from my Pop phase, that I still listen to.

Many 'N Sync Cds, including imports. B*witched, Five, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys.

As far as bands I like. I like Creed... A lot. *hides*

I know, I know...

Nickelback, Dashboard Confessional, Simple Plan.... ...A couple Good Charlotte songs... *hides again*

I also have Savage Garden, and Richard Marx hidden in my mp3 playlists.

Come on, let us all know what you like that is embarrassing!!!

I have a soft spot for tons of the one-hit-wonder songs of the 80's, but hell, I think anyone that grew up during the 80's can say they catch themselves bobbing their head to, oh, say.. A-Ha - Take On Me.

As simple and generic as it could be at times, I'll take 80's pop over any of today's vomit, any day of the week.

Well, about 1/3 of my cd collection consists of teen pop junk (and I listen to the Spice Girls ones when I'm really bored), 1/3 alternative or hard rock, 1/6 classical music, and 1/6 solo singers (Fiona Apple, Jewel, etc.). Those are the 50+ cds I've bought. Then I've got another 10+ that I've burned of various groups. And I've got aaround 300+ mp3s of various Japanese rock groups (which I listen to the most, and have actually memorized a few of them). I'm not embarrassed by any of the music, but what I, myself, do. After I started getting into the whole jRock thing, I talk about it a lot (no one knows what I'm talking about), sing, started learning guitar, and dress like them when I'm incredibly bored/feeling outgoing. Talk about obsession. *hides*

oh, i'm not ashamed!

dwight yoakam - still have some of his albums from my dee-wight days. honestly though, i still appreciate his unique voice and some of his songs i really still dig. again, no shame!

dishwalla - one of their cd's. dont mind a couple of the songs on it. i can listen to it and think of my days when i was 16 and wanted to run off with a long haired drummer in a VW van.

one of the crash test dummies (i only bought that cause i THOUGHt there was a song i liked on it, but i was wrong).

and plenty of 80's stuff...but there's no harm in that!

i never went thru the mainstream crappy band phase. (yeehaw!)

I... ummm... kinda used to like Savage Garden.

And I'm quite a big Prince fan.

And I love Crosby, Stills and Nash.

And I...kinda have the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack on vinyl. Yes, I do dance along to it.

Hey...

Loving Crosby, Stills & Nash is nothing to be ashamed of!

But owning a Thalia CD is. I bought that back when I was addicted to one of her telenovelas & I had the theme song stuck in my head all the time. (It was a while ago, since I haven't had a TV in ages) Thppt. The shame!

Y a mucha honra

MarÃ*a la del barrio soy....

I still remember the words!! It's a sad, sad day...

You just try and convince my friends that

I guess Crosby, Stills and Nash aren't anything to be ashamed of. Their debut has to be one of my favourite albums of all time.

I've got all the no doubt CD's.

I guess that's pretty bad, though I do actually like them (Their old stuff anyway.)

The old stuff was money! Tragic Kingdom was the end, *I* think...

I have a husky Mariah Carey collection from my R&B days. I have a few bad rap albums (Fu Shnickens, Young Black Teenagers, Paperboy...) and a couple of old old Weird Al Yankovic albums. I'm not embarrassed about any of it, but I probably should be.

I still love country! Well, not the mainstream pop crap, and not the uber-twangy stuff either. But I love Garth, Randy Travis, Rick Trevino (I had a crush on him when I was a kid. hehe. I wonder how he looks now.. All I know was that he was hot then. *snort*), of course Dwight Yoakum (Fast As You is my FAVORITE song from him), Clint Black. Ahhh, I could go on and on about it..

Oh yeah,. I usually proudly sing these songs in front of friends and everything. But I never admit to liking Good Charlotte, even a little bit.... 'cept on here. heh. My friends know about my weird music tendencies, but it's still sorta embarrassing! heh
