I take vitex - an herbal supplement - for smoothing out hormones ... I started it due to the severe PMS I was having but have found that with a high quality brand of vitex (also called chaste tree berry) that my cycles are practically the same. Now, if I run out of the vitex, then I see my cycles going from 23-32 days instead of 28. It does take, I think, 3-6 months to work. I believe my research on it talked about women having taken it for centuries for hormonal support. I've never had kids and I'm almost 35 and this has been the best option for me.
