Any good Mongolian has a section of the grill for red meat, white meat, and veggies. That's the only place to worry about. You build the dish yourself, so any meat in there is only one person's fault!
mmm... Mongolian Grill. It has been atleast a year since I've been there last. The food is delicious but I did notic a lot of cross contamination between the meat & noodles. Some people just use the tongs to pick up the meat and the juices splatter everywhere. Maybe they've changed the layout since I've last been there.
The place that Hub and I go to, the meat is thin shread and frozen (so there's no drippies happening). It's also in it's own area, away from the veggies and seperated so there's no possibility whatever of cross-contam's going on. The grill plate is really hot, so I'm not worried about my stuff going on the same plate as the carnivoires. I figure it's pretty much sterialized because of the heat, anyway and the workers there are always cleaning the grill plate between customers. I love to load the veggies on and the pineapple (when they have it) and the sauces there are SOOOOO GOOOD!
I used to go to a Mongolian Grill a long time ago, but when I went veg that changed. They don't clean it after meat is cooked on it, and it's just a big, circular hot plate. Two guys go around in a circle cooking 2 different bowls. So things from another person's bowl can get into yours.
There are some other mongolian BBQs here, maybe I could check them out and see.
