I have been ignoring all things Royal for a while. So maybe some of you know this already. But I was encouraged to learn this little Royal wedding tidbit.

And after a quick google search, it turns out that Ms. Markle has been a proponent of cruelty-free clothing for quite a while.

Huzzah!!

According to the "green tabloids", she also sticks to a vegan diet during the weekdays: http://www.onegreenplanet.org/news/meghan-markle-vegan-diet-week/ . She could become a good influence on people.

The Telegraph says that there is already an increase in searches for vegan leather pants.

But i also just found out that she tries to be gluten-free. I couldn't find out if she has Celiac's disease or not. But if she doesn't, I wonder if she is just someone who follows trends and ... well, the blind leading the blind comes to mind.
Some people are gluten-sensitive but do not have full-blown Celiac Disease.

And some people are confused about the concept and do it because they think its healthier.

Mr.H, you may be interested to know that the London Zoo, earlier this year, has named a newborn okapi after Meghan Markle.

Well, I didn't know that and normally I wouldn't care or be interested. But I didn't know what an okapi was till just now when I googled it. They are so cool. Little Zebra Giraffes. Does the zoo normally name their animals for people? And is that an appropriate honor?

This should be much more widespread . It's cool and not so much known around people .

What? Naming zoo animals after people? or wearing cruelty free dresses?
