I'm pairing mine with sweet potatoes and tons of cinnamon, nutmeg, and stuff. I can't wait to eat it. I am a squash fan. I also have some asparagus and I will be making a green bean casserole.. well before I tell you my entire thanksgiving line... Acorn squash and sweet potatoes!
Lately I've been cooking squash in the slow cooker. It works great. (Halve squash and discard seeds. Arrange squash halves in slow cooker and pour a little bit of water on the bottom of the slow cooker. Squeeze some ginger juice over the squash if you want and season with salt and pepper. Cook on low for 2-4 hours depending on the size of the squash.)
