It's humorous, but I would be so pissed if my ex did that to all our stuff rather than being mature about it and going through what we each wanted.

So would I, but you never know how the woman was treating him throughout the whole process. Though that doesn't make what he did logical, sometimes fusteration and being treated horribly can lead us to crazy things!

I agree.

If the wife is being a "bully" then maybe her wake-up call was well-earned. Granted, we don't know what's really going on.

My first thought was perhaps he is childish in all of the aspects of his life and there's a possibility that's why they're getting a divorce in the first place.

Since he sawed the house in half in response to the divorce, I am assuming the wife is the one who wanted the divorce in the first place.

This statement is kind of annoying to me.

That guy has an obvious temper problem. Normal people don't cut houses in half.

Ugh. The idea that the wife caused this by being a "bully" is so weird. The guy sounds more like the bully to me. He is the one who ruined a house out of anger.

No matter how much of a "bully" the wife was (or wasn't) sawing a house in half is just nuts. Bully or not she's doing well to be away from him.

And yes, I guess it's mildly funny if you don't think of the consequences to the people involved.

I just think he was being extremely out-of-line and childish, I agree with that.

But people do weird/crazy stuff all the time. There are people who intentionally harm themselves for no point whatsoever other than to do it, etc.

The guy obviously does have some sort of issue, I agree, considering he chainsawed a house in half. That must have taken one heck of a long time, too.

QFT.

He was wrong for doing what he did, no matter what the circumstances, but we don't know what lead him to do what he did.
