Maltodextrin is present in the soya milk I currently drink.<br><br><br><br>
My question is: is maltodextrin a sugar?<br><br><br><br>
If so, I shall have to eliminate the milk from my diet. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":(">

Yes, it's no!<br><br>
The advantage is that maltodextrin as a mixture of carbonhydrates of different length is converted into mono-sugars much slower than the di-meres like cane-sugar (saccharose) or milk-sugar (lactose).
