Ok. In the late seventies a couple of women published a couple of cookbooks filled with "make ahead mixes" and recipes to use them. More Make-A-Mix Cookery; Karine Eliason, Madeline Westover . The idea is to make up mixes like Bisquick, dried salad dressing herbs, hot chocolate, quick breads, etc.; on your own for use later.

I like the idea for the ease and the knowledge of what I'm eating, but the original cookbooks aren't vegetarian, much less vegan. (The "Bisquick" recipe uses buttermilk powder, for example.)

Does anyone have a lead, or recipes, they'd like to share?
