First, why do you want to lose weight? If that's a current picture of you in your avatar, I'd say you're more likely to need to gain weight than lose it.

Two weeks is not long enough to lose more than a pound or two healthfully.

Exercise, sleep, genetics and stress will also play into the weight picture.

Oops, sorry, I thought this was in the Dietary and Weight Issues forum. If any raw foodies object, I'll delete my post.

hm. it really depends on the individual. i know some people who haven't lost a single pound because the body wasn't concentrating on the weight; it was trying to work on other things that was going on. for me, the very first week, i lost 6 pounds. i was eating low fat (around 10%) raw vegan and exercising everyday for about an hour, mainly walking. i know dropping soda helped a bunch, too. after that first week, it was around 2-3 pounds as a steady loss, but i was overweight so it was melting off of me.

it also depends a lot how much you weigh. people that are thin probably won't lose much and people that are really heavy may lose quite a bit. how tall are you? how much do you weigh? what are your reasons for wanting to lose the weight? if you're only going raw for those two weeks, and then you'll be right back to doing/eating what you were before, you may gain that weight right back.

i do agree with skylark that if that's you in your avatar, you really don't look like you need to lose anything. don't get me wrong, i love for more people to eat more raw foods or try going 100% raw, but only for the right reasons.
