A friend of mine, a sweet, beautiful, vibrant 25 year old woman, has been in the hospital for a week now - they found what appeared to be a brain tumor. Yesterday we received the best news possible, that they believe it is a cyst and non-cancerous, but we won't know for sure until they take it out in 4 weeks.

I don't know if there is a board where people ask for prayers for others, but I thought I'd try in here. I believe all prayers are beneficial - from all religions, and the non-religious - from the positive thoughts of atheists, to the directed efforts of wiccans. If you have a minute to spare, please send whatever you can for her. She is a wonderful person and deserves the best fighting chance possible. Thank you

Thank you all for your wonderful prayers. She is doing well, and believe it or not, she is returning to work on Monday. Her surgery is going to be in the first week of January. She seems relieved right now, so thankful for every day she has, and thankful the doctors don't believe the mass is cancerous. Her outlook on life has totally changed and she is very optimistic. She said, "I thought this was it, that I was going to die. But now I truly believe I have a chance." We are so thankful for each day we have with her, and for your prayers.
