I'm after these things in basic principle:

And whilst about it, I can tell you I've been seeking them the last couple of days, on SnapFiles.com And FreeFiles.com etc with some quite good finds, which I can list shortly when I feel I've found what are good enough to share or whatever to showcase a few examples in comparitive standard gage (say, apps with features common to all here at VB or which are versatile enough to be of use to everybody I mean!!...

Anyhoo,, as I say up top I'm after these things in basic principle:

**Bookmarking Organizing Tool (pref with drag & drop but I guess not essential)** and which maybe helps in backing up as a bonus, or if not then okay, I just need to handle my bookmarks in a more flexible, slightly more proficient AND MORE FUN manner than offered by IE6 browser or any MS could ever offer.

I am ALSO looking at having myself a **ClipBoard Utility** & possibly with other similar utilities to co-perform alongside if I want, but anyhow, does anyone know how be you can as maybe use more than one clip utility?? I guess not all clip programs will clash though, and those that do will just have to be installed whilst using one or the other.

And finally something else I want is like a **Versatile Image Utility/Editor**of some variety that may include image Manager/Viewer/Organizer/Converter/Extracter/WHATEVER... ~~AND Especially Cool ~~would be a **HardDrive Image Retriever/ image Grabber Utility** ETC (all OR any of which combined) ...[[kinda regardless of my waiting for Gimp v~2.4 to come out, which is a thing all of its own, and probably not comparible anyways, great though it is of course/ quite apart of whether its superior in some ways or not, I'm openminded to trying other utilities, etc, SO LONG AS ITS FREEWARE (like Gimp for example) ..but anyway DOESN'T HAVE TO BE OPEN SOURCE]]

I have XP for whatever runs on it well.

BACK ON MY TOPIC:

I am right on this as a strong possible recommendation, hooks onto Windows' own Clipboard...I'm almost decided on a download, the only con is probs that the internal browser part of ClipMagic will *probably not* work if using my prefered browser FireFox, but everything else is positive that I read about it, in quite big detail, including I read it will work with Windows, Netscape & Opera !!

www.clipmagic.com/OnlineHelp --Intuitive SupportFiles.

www.clipmagic.com/download.html (3.2v, latest!!)

www.clipmagic.com/screenshots.html -- see it!!!!

I've already read positive things about this Faststone photo resizer http://www.download.com/FastStone-Ph...ml?tag=lst-3-7

I haven't tried it yet. You already mentioned gimp, which I haven't used but also heard good things about.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for.
