Ever since I was 15, I have been using tampons to capture my period discharges. As I'm learning more about all the tampons and pads that are making their way to landfills along with all of the other garbage we humans produce, plus just being tired of buying tampons and pads all the time, I'm looking for something better for my periods. I'm thinking about switching to menstrual cups. Have any of you guys ever used one? I have heard there is an adjustment period to using one. How hard are they to get used to? What has your experience been like using one and would you recommend it?

Menstrual cups are great! They have a slight learning curve but honestly you should get the hang of it in a few days of use. They last longer than tampons do and 0 waste! I've had one for years. Haven't used it in a number of months since getting an IUD (no more periods) but I loved it when I did use it.
