Does anyone know where I can find decent games for Linux? (Or Java...) I don't mind compiling stuff, just as long as it's not completely insane...

I miss the kind of games we used to play in the good old DOS days. Of course, I can use DOSBox, which is working surprisingly well.

Debian has a games section. I've seen clones of some old games in there like tetrus, pong and space invaders. They have some game software good for young kids like: gcompris, tuxpaint and childsplay . There is probably a lot of the same things in knoppix or ubantu.
