When I saw these in the grocery store, I almost passed by them assuming I wouldn't be able to eat them. Very few cookies in normal grocery stores are vegan friendly. But I noticed the word 'vegan' on the package. Of course, I had to try them. It's been a while since I had oatmeal cookies.

These bite-lettes are bite sized, of course. They have a decent amount of chocolate chips in them, so that's good. They are soft and chewy, just as good oatmeal cookies should be. They also contain shredded coconut, which I was not expecting, but did not mind too much. One thing about them that I did not care for was a distinct orange flavor. I think they would be better without the orange oil, which is next to the last ingredient. Personally, I think these cookies would have been much better if they were just oatmeal and chocolate chips, like I was expecting.

Overall, they were decent. Were they worth $6? Not really. Will I get them again? Probably not this flavor, because of the distracting orange flavor. I might give one of their other cookies a try, though.
