Way to go Krista!... You have your job now of course, so you can pay off legal proceeding costs etc and get your divorce over with!

All in all I suppose it's a good thing to be happening, at least I assume it is judging by your smilies,

apart from the jealous tart whom you will soon not have to worry about[?].

All the best for your kids/(his kids?)..as in to say whose are they??

Belonging to both of you??... (You AND your ex or just one of you??)

Well I don't read the other boards so I guess I belong here. My divorce worked out for me actually because my ex came home and told me that he loved someone else and wanted to marry her. At first I wouldn't let go of him, I never said anything to her but she was so jealous of me that she couldn't stand it. All I did was be myself and I ignored her crank calls and her driving past my house non stop and so on. How it worked out for me is simply this: she knew that my husband and I had a lot of money in Home Depot Stock and she pushed him to divorce me sooner than even he wanted too, thinking that he would get 1/2 the stock. After I moved out of my house, she moved in immediately with him, and he hadn't even filed yet. When no one was home, I went in and took pictures of her belongings in my home and took a few worthless items of hers to prove that I wouldn't have these things had they of not been in my home. In the end at our divorce hearing, the judge gave me everything and I mean everything and I never asked for it, my attorney did though. Apparently he didn't tell her he lost everything until after they married. Hehehe! They were married for 6 months he tells. So not only did I make out like a bandit he has tried everything to get me back, I figure he just wants his money back and will do anything, but it won't happen, cause I spent every single dime of it a few years ago.

LOL No, the jealous tart is my ex's GF who didn't like him being married to me still, so she pushed him to pay for the divorce hehe It was only $600 for the lawyer and court fees. We didn't go to court or anything.

He wasn't with her WHILE we were married. She came around 6 months ago So, no worries about her!

She is a cute little tart, though. Not as smart as me, but when she grows up she will be.

I am seriously happy for him, though. We didn't work out. We simply drifted apart and could not find our way back. Thankfully, we didn't have any children.

God knew what he was doing when I had my miscarriage. I could not have raised a child on my own.

Stories like these make me sad. They're why I was afraid of marriage for so long.

Quote:

Exactly epski! That is why I haven't as much as dated since my divorce in 97. I'm a very trusting person and when I fall in love...I give 100% of myself. I would like to meet someone again, just not completely sure that I can re-marry. It will take a lot for me to trust that much again.

Krista, I don't think this is what you had in mind when you started this thread, but hey...everyone can gossip about me, I need a little excitement in my life.

Let the gossip begin!
