my dog would do stuff like that. He'd look around, swipe something from the neighbor's yard and run. While looking over his shoulder.

My best friend's dog growing up would dig under the fence, go on the hunt for cat food, eat the cat food, then return with the bowl. They had at least 10 bowls stacked up and didn't know who they belonged to

You kinda expect that from dogs, but not cats.
