I gotta ask. Ok, I'm a beginner at running, but I do try and get at least 3 good sessions in a week. My question is, I'm a bit "large" up to, not huge but I've got something. I was wondering how I can prevent the sagging affect everyone tells me about that happens when you are a runner? I know to wear 2 sports bras, but does that really work and is there anything else? I'm sorry, I just don't want to be droopy before I'm even 20.

I have been running and teaching aerobics for years. I also have 4 children, so the "sagging effect" has already hit me.

What you need to do is find a good sports bra - one that is designed for "high impact" movement. Try on LOTS! I just recently found one that has an underwire built in and I have little/if no movement at all when I run. It's a Hanes for Her - and can be bought at WalMart or Target. It was about $9.00 and it works wonderfully.

Good luck! And........keep running - it's great exercise!

I think Champion also makes a sportsbra specifically for large-breasted women and it's supposed to be great for high-impact movement for cups C, D, DD, and so on.

A sports bra is a must. i don't really know about the whole sagging thing, but I do know that my boobs hurt if I run too far without a sports bra on. I also have the Hanes her Way from Target which has real good support. Good job for getting into running. It's great!
