I make a lot of kitcheree, always spiced "freestyle" with varying amounts of cumin, coriander, turmeric, fennel, ginger and pepper.

This recipe looks great. I will enjoy trying it. Thanks for posting!

I haven't used my crock pot in so long I've been ready to give it up.
The rice cooks right?
I don't like cooked mung beans, but I do love lentils and rice with those spices, so I'll try this!

It's probably that I had too many improperly cooked, or spiced in ways I didn't like. I can;t see any reason I wouldn;t like them. I have some for sprouting.
