The third link is not working. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
Who do you consider better then? Some would argue Carrie Underwood and you could possibly argue Joss Stone. Alicia Keys, Adele, and Mary J. Blige all have good voices as well. I don't see too many others as competition.Originally Posted by Sevenseas
The weirdest thing happened. I could say 'no' without even clicking on any of the links or knowing that much about her.
I've heard a lot of good things about Bjork but I haven't heard much from her. I'll have to listen to her soon. Fiona is a decent vocalist but nothing special to me.Originally Posted by Vegan Wannabe

You have singers like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rhianna, Britney. Not very good vocally. I consider Christina Aguilera and Beyonce as vastly overrated. I'm not a big fan of the male voice so I don't listen to too many male singers. A lot of mediocrity among singers so there's only a few standouts IMO.Originally Posted by Sevenseas
That seems like a reeeeeeeaaaaaalllly narrowly delienated list of female singers you're picking from.
I listen to a lot more oldies music than today's music. I don't voluntarily listen to today's music. Other people turn it on so I hear it a lot. I'd like to hear more indies music but I haven't been able to find a station that plays it.Originally Posted by Sevenseas
Don't you ever listen to any female singers from any other genres than chart-topping dance pop or chart-topping R&B?
The performance was good but I'd have to hear more from her. It's in the lower register where the great singers shine so I'd have to hear other performances from her.
I used youtube links in the first post so obviously I'm familiar with it. Do you have any recommendations?Originally Posted by Sevenseas
Well I recommend using YouTube or various label or review sites or record store sites for that purpose. YouTube has many songs posted, both from albums and from live performances, and sites for record labels or record stores, or for music reviews, have some clips you can listen to.
Thanks for posting that. It was very good.Originally Posted by *AHIMSA*
