Hello and welcome! You're definitely not alone! I can understand the frustration you are under. I am the only vegetarian I know in real life... even my husband is an omni. Being the odd man out can feel very lonely. Some people will come around and others will just put on blinders and carry on. Just try to focus on your own path in life and live as an example.

I try to not nag or draw attention to being veg*n because it tends to annoy omnis. I try to make veg*nism feel like no big deal. I've seen a bit of progress in my own life by doing this. My husband is now at the point that he eats meat only outside the home, he was completely supportive of raising our son vegetarian, my mom has been asking for tips on meatless meals and my sister has begun giving up certain meats. They are small steps, but they are steps in the right direction.
