I have what I think is a pretty good one. It's easy to throw together in the morning, and also easy to tweak, depending on what you have:

1 cup soy milk (regular flavor, not vanilla; I use fortified, also)

1 cup juice (I've been using V8 Splash juice blend, but you could certainly use either homemade or store bought grape, apple, orange, etc. - whatever your taste)

2 oz. silken tofu (I use Mori-nu lite)

1.5-2 cups frozen mixed berries (I like the blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry mix)

Put it all in a blender and blend until smooth.

I like this smoothie because it has lots of protein, vitamins and such. It's very filling and keeps me going for a long time.

I just made a smoothie the other day- well I guess it was more of a soy shake. It had frozen strawberries and vanillla Soy Delicious.

i also wanted to share my favorite smoothie recipe...

3/4 c. vanilla soy milk

3/4 c. tofu

1/3 c. peanut butter

2 bananas frozen and sliced

Blend until creamy! This is a simply blissful treat and it's good for you too! (though I must warn you, be ready to share it!)

I do one of these things

-soymilk

-a banana

- some strawberries or blueberries

or

mixed fruit

- a mango

- a banana

- strawberries

I eyeball all this, but it's really good and very easy:

about a cup of unfiltered apple juice

5 or 6 large, frozen strawberries

1/2 banana

2 Tbsp. vegan protein powder

No tofu to deal with (can be inconvenient if you're in a hurry) and it's really tasty!

I'll have to try these other recipes when I have more time.

My favorite smoothie is sort of like epski's. A bit of soy potein powder, a frozen bannana, blueberries (sub your favorite fruit), bit of flax seeds, a bit of sunflower seeds and apple juice. It is very good.

Here is a recipe for a rick smoothie that can border on a shake.

_Pumpkin Smoothie_

1/2 canned pumpkin

3/4 cup soy milk or soy yogurt

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

2 teaspoons of vegan brown sugar

4 ice cubes

Blend all the ingrediants until smooth. Serve in small batches topped with optional vegan whip cream and a bit of cinnamon!
