I haven't been there in over 5 years. Had some downtime today so I went searching on the veganfreak web board. It didn't come up on Google. Does it not exist anymore or is it just hidden from search engines? If it exists what is the URL

I think you're thinking of veganrepresent.com that got re-named to plantbasedpeople.com (IIRC) after the owner decided "vegan" had too many negative associations. veganfreak seemed so cool and hip for a while, but I guess it was just too much for them after a while.

No, there was a forum called veganfreak.com (or was it veganfreaks.com?). I had a membership there. The website does seem to be gone now.

sleepy, my previous post was in reply to JJ.

I've read elsewhere that the board may be back at some point. According to what I've read it was invite-only or only allowed people to register during certain times. That sounds a bit silly to me to be honest, a bit like the relaunch of Nike Air at 4am in the morning. Also, a forum going off-line like that seems a bit unprofessional.

In short, you don't need those other veg*n Internet forums. Veggieboards is all you need.

You are right: veggieboards is all that you need. I'm signed up at a lot of other veg forums, but VB is by far my favorite.

Bob of Vegan Freaks always said he was going to quit eventually. I think when they moved house they lost interest or something.

Torres seems to have dropped his web presence entirely. His twitter account hasn't been updated in a long time. He just a static page on his personal domain and his publishing site "tofu hound press" is also gone.
