I was wondring if my cat may have feline diabetes. She is obsessed with water, always drinking from anything she can, out the sink, out the toilet, from her water bowl, from my glass if I get a glass of water, ect

I checked out some of the symptoms of feline diabetes since I knew the thirst thing could be a sign and some of the other symptoms she has is being quite skinny (she hasn't lost weight, she's always been a skinny cat) and throwing up a lot.

Is this something I should be worried about, should I take her to the vets?

Depending on your cat's age it could be other things. This happened to my Chelsea, a while back, but she did lose weight. It turned out to be kidney cancer. She died a month later. I would, at the very least, call the vet to see what they think, but they will probably suggest a visit. It's probably the best thing to do. Keep us posted.

Thanx for the replies everyone. I took her in to see the vets today, and thankfully it's nothing serious, just a minor thyroid problem, nothing to be concerned with, and her weight is due to a slightly fast metabolism, again nothing to be worried about, so that's a relief
