or has this been asked already?

I don't get addicted to tv shows usually. In fact, I *hate* the majority of tv shows, especially the last 10 years or so.

BUT...I am so addicted to "Law & Order, Criminal Intent" that I tape them so as not to miss an episode. I even watch to summer reruns. I also have a major crush on the lead, Vincent D'Onofrio -- don't ask me why! How in the world can *I* have a crush on a tv character/actor???? Quite embarrassing. He's a fine big-screen character actor too.

I really, really liked Inspector Morse. A whole evening of quality entertainment . I seldom watch TV nowadays, though I used to be a 'Trekkie' when I was younger (a couple of years ago ).

I rather like watching Seinfeld. Since I didn't have a tv when it was running, I see many episode I never saw while it's in re-runs. It's on so much as re-runs , repeats are innveitable but I watch some of those too. I find Kramer so laughable (just in how he does things) and love hearing Goerge's tirades against society and his schemes gone awry. Goerge's family is just so bloody wierd it's too funny.

I also love watching the Simpsons

As far as addicted. Well I'm not addicted to any but I'm counting down to when the 'second season boxed set' of Babylon 5 will be released ... I will buy that (first season was excellent and the boxed set was a beautiful item). I never had a TV in the 90's so I never saw this show on TV so it's all new to me (unfortunately if they only release only one year of episodes each year as a set it will be a number of years before I see it all .... )

(There's already a thread about American Idol so I'll leave this post Cl*y-free.)

The Simpsons is the best sitcom ever, period. I've spent the past six months catching up on Will & Grace. The current season doesn't even compare to the older episodes. Now they have too many guest stars, Jack is becoming a parody of himself, and can we please get Will a man?

I watch reruns of Seinfeld every day (twice a day if I'm still awake at 10:30) and I can't get enough of it. In fact, I'm going to start a thread as soon as I finish this post...

Yea, I don't even watch Will and Grace anymore. If "Get Smart" were still on three times a day like it used to, I'd still be watching it!

For other oldies (but ones I never see anymore) "Twilight Zone" -- I could watch that over and over and over...

I liked "Gomer Pyle" lol!

And, of course, I never tire of "Lucy."

the only tv show i usually ever watch is the daily show. even though its made in jokes and john stewart makes himself look like a fool john stewart is actually a genius. there is more good points made on the daily show then on real news stations.

most ofthe good shows do not run anymore and probably the only reason i think they are good is because i have fond memories as a child watching them. other then that there aint much good on tv besides the music stations. i cant belive people actually like these idiotic reality tv shows. but to each is own I guess.

I was addicted to Deep Space Nine. I loved the show. I do like Boston Public, but I often forget to watch it.

Now, I'm addicted to American Idol and Survivor. Sitcoms and dramas no longer hold my attention.

I get an 'old show' channel on cable. I watch things like Three's Company, Taxi, Laverne and Shirley (hehe, ya gotta love Lenny and Squiggy), Happy Days. I was prett much watching those as reruns when I was younger I would have been only 4 or so when some were being made and probably wouldn't have cared to watch.

It's odd but some of these shows (and their theme songs ... such as the Taxi theme, I love that) give me this nostalgic feeling ...hehe

Law and Order - I am an original Law and Order junkie. They have reruns on TNT and some nights I can watch four in a row. I like Special Victims Unit to a lesser degree and I am really not too fond of Criminal Intent.

My other TV addictions are CSI and the Simpsons.

Whose Line is it Anyways?

I love the American version of this show, Colin, Ryan and Wayne are absolutely brilliant. I don't often watch television because they just replay the same story lines over and overrrrrrr again. But I could watch Whose Line a dozen times a day and not get sick of it.

I don't even own a TV, but I go over to a friend's and watch Buffy every week -- I suppose that counts as addiction. It'll be cancelled in a few weeks, though, so then I guess I'll be TV-free -- unless I find something to replace it. I have no time for TV, really.

lol, I know what you mean about Martha. I'm not addicted to her show, but if it's on, I have to watch her at least for a few minutes. I wonder if it's just to sit there in judgment of her, lol -- "Ugh, she is so anoyyyyyyying" -- yet I watch...
