Hi everyone.

Thought this may be of interest to some people out there.

I thought my eldest son had irritable bowel syndrome, and i was getting ready to go to the GP and get medication. Then by chance, whilst browsing on the net (as you do!) I came across this video:
and after following the advice in it, we determined that it wasn't IBS but a problem with intolerance to lactose.

The GP confirmed it, and we now have everything under control, using a non-lactose milk substitute.

I have IBS, and it was a major factor in why I went vegan so long ago. Dairy is a major irritant, also be wary of spicy foods and how much oil/fat the sufferer ingests. Low fat, high fiber, dairy free, and non-spicy foods are usually pretty 'tummy-taming.' Also eating smaller meals through out the day makes it easier as well. Over-eating gives it way too much to work through. Good luck
