I'm pretty new to vegetarianism, and have been vegetarian for two months. I eat fish though, my mum wont let me not eat that as of yet. I hardly ever eat it though, and only if i can't avoid it.

My only reason for being vegetarian is animal rights. I live at home :p And I have a rescued cat, and a toad, and two rescued bunnies (one is pregnant ) So there might be 15 new babies in a months time. I hope not =D

And other than that I joined VB today

Hiya, that's great that you're almost vegetarian. It'll get easier once you are a bit older and out of your parent's control. If you want to convince your mother, you can read up on the health benefits of a vegetarian diet, the dangers of mercury, and convince her that you know all the health requirements and will have no trouble getting enough protein, and vitamins on a vegetarian diet. You've come to the right place to find all the info, and some support.

Check out the Companion Animals forum for advice on rearing the baby bunnies, and on how best to get them all fixed!
