I don't know about the rest of you but the topic of animal rights drives me insane. It basically controls my life lol. I don't even know where to start. I spend hours to even days on my computer looking up animals right issues. There are so many different concerns such as: Veganism, animal experimentation, circus abuse, hunting, protesting, and SO many more. And i have no one to talk about it to, my family and friends don't care. They get mad because i chose not to wear leather and wool. Today we had pizza for dinner, i couldn't it because of all the cheese and crap. My mom said "why can't you just be normal and eat the pizza". Why would you want to feed your growing daughter something so unhealthy? Oh and not to mention the dead animals hanging on our walls. We have 3 deers, a squirrel, and an Elk!! My father spend $6,000 so he could take a hunting trip to cananda and shot a Elk!!!! The Elk is a HUGE beautiful creature, sorta like a moose i guess. and let me say that i do NOT come from a wealthy family AT ALL. That just show how selfish and pointless the trip was. So if any of you feel the same way i would LOVE to chat. And here are some great links for animal rights clothing and such:

Good for you. Stick to your guns, er, you know what I mean.

This board does have a strong AR component, hence the board's, uh, subtitle ("Vegetarian, Vegan, Animal Rights Message Board"), so you have plenty of people to share with here.

I do a lot of work for an anti-vivisection organization and hope to build that into work for additional AR activities. AR doesn't make me insane, thank goodness, but it does keep me up nights sometimes. I was up late last night posting about AR in the "peter singer" thread. Have you read him? Tom Regan? Others?

Hi Angeldust1926!
I'm sorry to hear that you have to live in a house with dead animals on the walls.
I'm sure you'll find the support that you need here. It's a great place to vent and be understood!
