Is there any way to increase your metabolism?

I have a specific mealplan that I haven't been following because I was sure that I'd gain weight on it. I've been maintaining on a restrictive diet, so is there any way to eat that much food without gaining? I'd be adding a lot of calories and don't need to gain weight.

Any suggestions?

What is the purpose of the specific meal plan? And if you haven't actually been following it, how do you know that you'd gain weight on it?

Exercising, eating frequently, drinking enough water and getting enough sleep can all help to boost your metabolism.
