Hello everyone,
My name is Joanne. I've been a lacto-ovo vegitarian since Jan 1, 2003. I think I'm ready to make the trasition to vegan now.
My husband and son both eat meat. My hubby says he'll pobably become vegitarian someday "when he's ready". I keep hoping. Trying not to nag.
I grew up on a small family owned dairy farm. When I saw the video "Meet Your Meat," it brought back some repressed memories. Everybody talks about how bad factory farming is, but a lot of small farms are guilty of cruel treatment too.
My mom and siblings think I'm nuts. When I tell them I'm giving up eggs and dairy, they'll be even more offended. I'm going to need some moral support.
