there was an article i saw today about a major animal food recall so i thought i would post about it here. i didn't see another thread for it, but i apologize if there is.

Is anyone going to change cat food over this? I don't really want to but it kind of scares me...

I was suprised to see nutro on their with all those crap brands. I can't really change it though, they're the only ones who make chunks and gravy style wet food that isn't horrible (at least that I've found). My kitties will just eat dry if I try to give them the "loaf" type stuff and I'd rather them have a bit more moisture in their foods. I guess just eating innova dry wouldn't kill them...

the treats was a seperate issue, it was for salmanella

fyi i think hills perscription cat food was on that list so just because it's right from the vet doesn't necessarily mean it's safe, you should check just in case.
