I feel so sick and it feels like there is a rock in my belly.<br><br>
Not to mention the gastric upset <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/bigcry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
I told my husband to order a pepper& onion pizza for me when he called out last night.<br><br><br><br>
He normaly orders a meat lovers forhimself and cheese for me but it seems somehwere in his little man mind peppers and onions ment order pepparoni and extra cheese. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sick.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
Well not much to do when the delivery guy shows up but him and give him his tip.<br><br>
I was so hungry though I thought I'll just pick the meat off.<br><br>
Not something I would normaly do but being out of any fresh fruit and veggies it was that or make a run to the store.<br><br><br><br>
So I picked it off and ate the pizza anyway.<br><br>
That will learn me <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sick.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br>
Seriously though how long does it take for the sick feeling to go away?<br><br>
I ate the pizza around 11 pm last night and it is now past 4 in the afternoon and I still feel like I just ate the crap and all I want to do is vomit.

pick up some bismuth next time you're in the drugstore, it's good to have handy for stuff like this. i keep a bottle in my lunchbag so it's handy wether i'm home or at work, cause i tend to get random stomach aches.

Glad you feel better... whenever I eat something that I later find out contained dairy, well... the way I usually find out is the next morning! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/lipsrsealed2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":sealed:"> Usually my tummy feeling icky and crampy just lasts for a day or so. Might all just be in my head, but the dairy seems to be what causes it.

Several months ago I ordered a pasta dish, portabella ravioli in a garlic cream sauce.<br><br>
Now justlook at it you would think it would be suitable for a lacto/ovo diet wouldnt you?<br><br><br><br>
Well the next day griped by pains and well running to the bathroom quite a bit I called the place thinking I had gotten a mild case of food poisoning but no it was just the chicken broth the added to the sauce <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/inquisitive.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":stinkeye:"><br><br>
So you get the symptoms without knowing you ate something like that which means it is not just all in our heads.

Are you sure you're not just mildly lactose intolerant? If I have a decent amount of dairy from a cream sauce, pizza, or some ice cream, I'll feel bloated for the rest of the day and hungover the next day. I think I'm no longer used to the high fat content of most dairy, either that or I'm so used to not feeling like crap that I'm more sensitive now. And if you want really good pizza that won't leave you feeling like a balloon, just get one with no cheese and tons of canned mushrooms. The canned mushrooms give a cheese like texture.<br><br><br><br>
If I ever feel like crap from bad food, I always eat some fresh produce, usually oranges. I think the enzymes or something in the oranges help clean out my system better.<br><br><br><br>

Nope not lactose intolerant I have dairy almost daily but it is a good thought given that so many adults are lactose intolerant.<br><br><br><br>
I feel better but I do not think I will just pick it off anymore , that was just not fun not to mention a little icky.<br><br>
What is pepparoni made out of anyway?

I used to love pepperoni when I was an omni and loved it on pizza. I can't believe I ever liked it either. I always thought it was just made out of pig, didn't know it had beef and veal in it, that's soooo nasty! Well, the fact that it's so processed is disgusting too.<br><br><br><br>
Meat is so disgusting. Glad I am a veg now.

My stomach just flipped, and I haven't intentionally eaten meat in almost two years. I thought I'd never eaten veal. Ugh. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">
