Yesterday was the first time ive ever taken a complete B suppliment (I decided to switch jus ttaking a b12 to a total B). My urine was like... this dark neon yellow for the rest of the day. It's back to normal today and I haven't taken another one.<br><br><br><br>
Is this a really bad thing? Could it possiblyt be a good thing? What could be the cause of it? Any info/input would be great.

You're just peeing out the excess water-soluable B vitamins. My first or second pee after I take my vitamins is also neon. As long as you get enough water, you should only pee once or twice where it's yellow. It should go to a normal clear after as long as you're getting your water.

2 more quick questions<br><br><br><br>
1) Do I *REALLY* have to drink 8 glassesa day?<br><br>
2) Does it have to be water or can it be other forms of liquids? I drink too much tea and orange juice to be able to withstand a bunch of glasses of water :S

Drink what you like, only too much juice cióntains quite a lot of sugar.<br><br>
BTW: how much mg/µg of B-vitamins did you take? Maybe it's more than you need.

I also find the same thing when I take a multi. Actually it's the reason I STOPPED taking a multi, because I felt like I was like dropping a small bomb into my system. By body would just reject it and try and pee it all out as fast as it could. I drink fortified milk so I figure I get all I need that way.

I've heard that tea and other caffeinated beverages don't really count towards your water total. Something about the caffeine getting in the way of the water being useful. But as long as soy milk and OJ count, I'm in good shape. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"><br><br><br><br>
As for the subject of supplements, I have a question, too. Are there any mainstream multivitamins that aren't made from animal products? I don't want to have to go out of my way and pay extra for some special brand, if there's one I can get from my normal supermarket.<br><br><br><br>
