Hi - I read an article in the past few days that I believe came from a hyperlink on these boards somewhere. I can't find it in either the boards or my history. Perhaps one of you can put your fingers on it:

It is an article about how brutal the killing and processing is of chickens. It get's quite descript about the electified pools of water, etc. It also talks about how the industry is looking at possibly gassing the chickens in the trucks.

I believe that this came from a national news show or paper, but I can't be sure. I have read a lot in the past 10 days.

Do this ring a bell to anyone? I want to refer it to a local TV station here in San Antonio.

Thanks,

FOUND IT!!! I had hyperlinked to it from a site called "dawnwatch.com" and that is where I found the story. here it is:

http://www.upc-online.org/slaughter/report.html

Thanks for the help. Our local news station did a report tonight on how the filthiness of raw chicken. During the broadcast, they showed these fat, clean chickens scratching in a big pile of fresh shavings. And the public, when they see that image, wonders why so many of their packaged chickens can be so contaminated. I thought I'd send that reporter a dose of reality, don'tcha think?

Thanks for the help.
