It's been happening all day. I mean, it's not like I'm not kinda used to them, whenever I get up to fast, I get all those black spots in my eyes, and my hearing kinda gets weird, but it goes away if I stand still. Well, today, I woke up late, about 11:00, so I didn't really eat breakfast, I just waited for lunch, when I had some pasta. I also had some potato chips. Well, I'd been getting a few headrushes, but not too bad, so I didn't hink anything of it. But when I was sitting in my room, I got up to go to the bathroom, and my headrush was REALLY bad. I got out of my room when it hit, and it was so strong that I fell down. I stayed on the ground until it went away. I thought maybe it was because I hadn't eaten much all day, so I went and got some chips and salsa. I felt better for a while, but I stood up and I got a headrush again. I'm drinking some orange juice, thinking that might help, but are there any more ideas?

Okay...so pasta, potato chips and chips and salsa? Did I miss your nutritious meal for the day? Do you take a multivitamin?

clearly you aren't eating enough real, good food if you are eating as described. That'd be what I'd look at first. For instance, are you getting your five servings of fruits and veggies a day? Do you have sources of protien and fat?

I'm by no means a medical professional, but I think it worth checking your blood pressure - I have low blood pressure, and when its been very low, I have passed out from it, I get up and get dizzy, see spots etc... so I just get up slowly. However, I do have to agree with Bethanie - food is essential, as are your daily requirements? hang in there.

Yeah, it sounds a lot like anemia... however definitly start eating a more well rounded diet, and next time you're at your doctors, mention it to him/her-even if you don't have headrushes anymore at the time.
