...and was wanting a good recipe to try out for some heavy meat eaters.<br><br><br><br>

I've only made a few recipes from there, but still love both the chickpea cutlets and the leek and bean cassoulet. My hubby really liked both of them <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="">

I just made the leek and bean cassoulet on Monday, it was so delicious! It's a very hearty meal.

I made the curry (can't remember what its called?) for my family and tehy were very impressed! It was a pretty easy dish too.

Have you browsed the Veganomicon thread? There's reviews and pictures in there for a lot of the recipes. I probably wouldn't do anything with seitan, tempeh, or tofu ince I generally steer clear of those things for hardcore meat eaters with little veg exposure.

Hi there. I have heard great things about this book and am considering getting a copy. Would you mind letting me know if it has a lot of soy-based meals? I don't eat soy and am looking for a great book that has a lot of vegan recipes made without soy products.<br><br><br><br>

Same here. For hardcore meat eaters I usually do something simple and familiar, like a meatless pasta. They tend not to appreciate the yumminess of seitan/tempeh/tofu.
