I found a sprouted seed inside a pink lady apple and on a whim planted it.<br><br>
I now have an inch and a half tall little seedling <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smitten.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":smitten:"><br><br>
Now I have no idea what kind of apple tree it will turn out to be since apples are notorious cross breeders, it could be a crab apple for all I know but still it is the first apple tree I have ever attempted to grow so this should be fun.<br><br>
I know even if it is a good apple tree it will take years to produce but all I can think of is the old apple tree way out in the middle of the fiel on our ranch when I was a kid.<br><br>
Some sort of mutt apple that was sooo good.

I cut the top off a 2 liter soda bottle and used it as a pot to sprout the seed, it seems to be growing very happy in there and has a few new true leaves.
