So I don't post often, I mostly lurk. But, I had to share my happy news. Today I found out that there are now FIVE (myself included) vegetarians at my work!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/hamster.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":hamster:"> We only have about 25 employees so that's pretty good. And, except for one girl, they have all been veg for a pretty long time, which is pretty inspiring. Anyway, I don't think I've known four other vegatarians ever, nevermind all at the same place. So I now have something to be happy about at my job. Yay crappy retail food job!!!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/dancingbanana.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":nana:"><br><br><br><br>
BTW, we are all female, kind of weird.

Yeah, there does seem to be a disproportionate number of female to male vegetarians. There have been quite a few threads about it here, but I don't think anyone's ever agreed on an explaination <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/grin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":D">

Currently, I don't even know anyone in this town who eats vegetables let alone being a veggie. Even the local shop has given up trying to sell veg, but they do sell potatos!<br><br><br><br>
It is so loney here, I found myself talking to a swede the other day.....
