Yep, that's right. I'm so proud of myself. I drained some firm tofu, cut it into thin strips then dipped it in soy sauce and wasabi paste. Mmm Mmm good! I also froze some so I can BBQ it tomorrow.

Unless its drained, its kinda watery and squishy and blobby.

thats cool.....I have been veg almost 22 years and the only I can stand tofu ....the only tofu I eat is the awesome tofu jerky my sweetie makes....I have tried it a million ways and cant get over the icky factor no matter what I do.

Woohoo!

Some people don't like that it's so bland but when combined with really good ingredients. It definitely makes a difference! Or the texture.

I like silken in desserts ie: chocolate mousse! or prepared by a restaurant, which has been twice now. I think they use fresh or at least not packaged stuff like we buy in the stores. Totally tastes different.
