I was one of those people in a conversation.
I was alone with a co-worker. The co-worker brought in a cake. A customer walked in, and we offered her a slice of cake. She said "No, I'm vegan." To which I replied "Wow! THAT is so awesome!!! Good for you! I wish more people were vegan!"
And then I sat there and ate my cake while she and I discussed business.
Looking back, I feel really stupid! I wish I would bump into that woman one day so I could tell her so!
