I just made some with garlic, lemon juice, a bit of salt and some Tapatio (the habinaro sauce). I didn't realize you could put black olives in it but it sounds really good I may have to try that next time.
a touch of vinegar, about 1 tsp, onion fresh or powder, I never use tahini and mine turns out just fine, add some fresh or dried cilantro, cumin, coriander, garlic, lemon juice. the last batch I made, I added filtered water and used very little spice, everyone loved it. personally it was too bland for my taste buds.
