One of my cows Nazarith has an eye infection and my Mum says she remembers using human eye ointment on calves in the past and it working well. She said she'll get some for Nazzy but I'm not convinced that it's a good idea. Has anyone else done this. It's not a very serious infection at this stage - don't worry, we'll definately get the vet out if it doesn't clear up soon.

well i dont know about human eye treatments for cows but i use cow ointments for myself heh. my stepdad is a vet and so growing up we rarely went to the doctor he just gave us animal meds because they are the same thing. actually they are sometimes cheaper and better quility ha. so to answer your question i think it would be just fine to use it. hope she feels better.
