I bought some "Nunaturals White Stevia Powder" and was wondering if anyone has used this product and knows how sweet it is compared to sugar. That way i can figure how much to put in recipes that call for sugar.

I know that this product is not pure stevia extract; it has fiillers so it's less sweet.

I know that stevia is suppose to be much sweeter than sugar. Why don't you do a side by side taste test?

i was just looking up info on stevia last night. i've never tried it, but really want to. it's supposedly diabetic safe so i think it'd be sweet to get some for my grandma. it'd be super cool if i could find a brand of cookies that use stevia for her, since she's always looking for sugarfree cookies. but i don't think there's much hope of it being that easy to find any.

i read that it can be up to 30-80 times sweeter. try one of these charts:

http://www.always-youthful.com/nutrition/stevia.shtml

http://cookingwithstevia.com/stevia_...hart.htmlsugar
