My son is 16 months old, and I

was wondering if anyone knows

how much protein and B12 a

toddler needs per day. Also,

what are the best sources of these?

I don't give him meat, but he still drinks

milk, and eats cheese. He refuses

to give them up. He can't stand

eggs, though. He is a VERY picky

eater. Sometimes I think he lives

on air.

my son is 15 months and i was told that as long as he is getting 4 servings of soy milk a day (since it has 1/2 the fat of whole milk they say for me to give him 32 oz a day instead of the usual 16oz recommended for whole milk) then his B-12 is covered. I would think that if your giving him mik and cheese then his B-12 is covered. But protein is found in that stuff and beans, tofu, soy Etc. it is extremely hard to be american and have a protein defecency. (sorry for bad spelling. im tired lol) i am not sure exactly how much they need, but i was told that with 4 servings of soy milk my baby would be fine. of course my kid eats EVERYTHING lol
