how is Community Assistance not the place?

has been locked, again unduly so i say, 
i make this new one to ask how is 'Community Assistance' not the place for my serious inquiry?? 
why the coverup? 
why not let it be open for proper replies to my inquiry?? 
Community Assistance has this subtext - 
"Community questions, comments, and suggestions." 
i ask that my thread be re-opened and i ask for proper treatment to my inquiry, than just trying to close it down and let injustice prevail which i complain/inquire about. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/no.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":no:">

This is not a community issue, Rahil. It's a personal one, and it should be kept personal. Send a PM. Don't keep starting threads. 
And I'm not opening your thread again, sorry. If you feel that me doing my job is an injustice to you, send a PM to Michael. I've asked you twice now (and nicely) to stop airing your personal problems on the board. I'm leaving this thread open but if it gets ugly, or turns into a bashfest, it's gone too. 
The "proper replies" that you are looking for should come from the individuals you are referring to. There's no reason for you to attempt mob justice just because one comment of yours was edited. 
Bottom line: don't like it, talk to Michael.

i totally understand why you'd be pretty peeved right now- and can relate- but i think michael is the person to raise this with... use the system, don't get screwed by it instead.

it would be more like a community issue if he put the question to the community asking if anybody else had faced an issue like this, and what they thought about it, perhaps? but right now its just his personal greiveance, and i think doing that kind of thing right now wouldn't be the best way of handling it- cos the situation has kind of progressed from a simple query.

my 'joke' was very 'scale 1' on a scale of 1 to 10 of 'inappropriateness' 
see the 'Slut' thread for examples of scale 5 and up posts which even a certain couple MODs who frequent that thread do NOTHING about 
this is certainly a Community Issue as it deals with a complaint and suggestion coming out of a Public Post on a Public thread being Removed from Public sight to "Protect" 'younger Public VBers'

I really don't think it is "such lengths" to click on michaels name and going to send a PM. If there is a post that you feel is inappropriate, all you have to do is click on "report post" that way you can be sure a mod will see it.

Rahil, if you encounter a post that you feel is inappropriate, REPORT IT. We, the mods, DO NOT, WILL NOT, CAN NOT read every post in every thread. When a post is reported, we will deal with it AT OUR DISCRETION. 
Inconsistent? We seriously try not to be. We go to great lengths to keep our moderation impersonal and fair. Having said that, we are human, and not perfect. If a particular member (not referring to any specific member at this point) has been annoying me, I am less likely to tolerate shenanigans on their part. 
Your post was inappropriate. Deal with it. 
If you don't like the way you're treated here, you are always welcome to click that little red "x" and go somewhere else. Your choice.

 this isn't about me reporting or scrutinizing anyone's posts 
this is about standing up for myself by saying that much more 'inappropriateness' is allowed all over this forum in pure, full sight of the Mods (whose job it is to take of that without anyone having to report it - so don't let anyone make it an issue that 'oh you should report it') 
yet my very minor post is being treated like this

 most are in plain sight 
2 particular Moderators frequent the SLUT thread which is one example of a thread which is full of inappropriateness 
but they do NOTHING about it 
do YOUR jobs 
don't look for a scale 1 'inappropriate' post to delete and feel good about yourselves when you all play blind to the more severe posts which are FULLY VISIBLE

Not all mods find the same things inappropriate. When things are reported, especially if they aren't clearly in violation, they are discussed by the mods before any action is taken. It is not a matter of favoritism if some mods don't delete/report some posts they read because their views of inappropriate are different than the other mods. If YOU see something that YOU feel is inappropriate, than YOU can report it and we will discuss it. Obviously you have found many things on the boards that you felt were inappropriate, but I don't recall seeing them reported?!? Maybe you are playing favorites and will only report posts by people you don't like?? 
We've recieved numerous complaints about you and you're still here, and you seem to feel the mods have it in for you, so explain that one? We edited a post, you were not put on suspension or banned. 
If you aren't happy here, then go somewhere else. We won't mind.

Rahil, look at it this way. you see a car speeding down the road, but their are no cops in sight. that guy gets away with speeding. you go over the speed limit 5 miles, and you get pulled over. the only difference is that you were caught speeding. that's all. 
besides, as far as moderation being inconsistant or biased, well, so is everything. life's not fair.
