There were only a handful of words I wasn't 100% sure how to pronounce (maybe 4-6?), but I knew almost all of them. Like you, whisper, I think they're just not words used here in the US. Even though it's not my favorite subject, I'm good at reading and pronunciation. I almost gave out out of laziness, but pushed through.
Managed the whole thing out loud. Two words I'd never heard of, but the pronunciation was obvious because of the rhyme. A couple more I'd only read and never heard, but again, managed them just fine. The sad thing is, I know a large amount of native English speakers would never manage it.
