I went to the store to get a vegetarian DHA supplement (I have been going to drugstores, health food stores, supplement stores, grocery stores, looking for the algae based DHA but all of them had gelatin capsules and, knowing that a vegetarian capsule DOES exist, made me unable to buy them......)
Well, I called Whole Foods and they told me, "yes, we DO! We just started stocking them two weeks ago, come on it!" They had exactly the one I wanted, the "Health from the Sea" 100% vegetarian omega-3 DHA. (This formula is not vegan, as it has beeswax.... but it is the one my doctor recommended...)
I was SHOCKED when I saw the price - $27 for 30 pills!!!!! Of course I'll spend anything to have a healthy little baby, but that's a lot of money just for pills, that's more than my pre-natals cost. I had seen them online for just a little less so I guess I can't complain..... I've seen them on some vitamin sites for a little cheaper, but I'm afraid to order things online from companies I don't know, ESPECIALLY ones that sell pills....
Does anyone order it from a reputable company they could recommend me? Thanks!!
