HLS film online [This film MUST be SHOWN EVERYWHERE OVER & OVER & OVER... 
A must see video.... Please watch it in it's entirety. This is not only about putting an end to hideous animal cruelty, but also about the very important and urgent issue raised by the Animal Enterprise Act, which does everything to protect corporations while seriously threatening our First Amendment rights. 
We are all in danger of losing the right to peaceful protest, the kinds of protests that enabled civil rights activists and women's groups to demonstrate and take actions to bring about meaningful change. Animal rights and environmental activists for social change, have been singled out for punishment...because of the perceived threat to big business... while anti-abortionists, white supremacists and the like, are allowed to engage in violent, sometimes deadly protests and activities because they represent little or no threat to corporations.

That's a sad video. But I wish there was a group fighting HLS that didn't use harrassment and threats of violence though. The video was very misleading (it outright lies) in regards to the lawsuit against SHAC. I guess that explains why some people (who don't know any better) actually support SHAC. If the video was actually about HLS I'd recommend everyone see it as that footage is very good, but this is just more SHAC propoganda with lies about what the SHAC 7 were charged with.

What *specific legal charges* do you think they were given that were left out of the video? I am unable to watch it. 
Whether you agree with the campaign or not, I think legally the convictions are shaky and there's a good chance of overturn, as it's a pure speech case. 
I think SHAC UK sucks though, and I wouldn't support them.

In so far as threats of violence and publicly posting private information is "speech", then yes, that's what the case is about, and no I would certainly hope the first amendment doesn't allow that type of speech. The video says that they lawsuit is simply the government wanting SHAC to stop telling people about HLS, but that's untrue. The case is about the SHAC members who posted private information about employees and their families on a public website with the knowledge and foresight that this information would be used to stalk, threaten and intimidate the workers and their families and their children.

You are implying that the accused SHAC members themselves made threats of violence.
