High protein suggestions

I'm not a parent but due to a recent family tragedy I am taking care of my 5 year old cousin temporarily. Her doctor wants her on a high protein diet so most of our family is really pushing chicken and eggs. Can you all give some vegetarian/vegan high protein suggestions for me.

peanut butter (you can spread on crackers, bread, make peanut butter pita sandwiches, spread on apples, celery, etc.)

beans (bean burritos, bean tacos, lentil chili, black bean soup, split pea soup, succotash, bean casseroles)

high-protein veggie meats and cheeses (put veggie deli meats in sandwiches, add veggie sausages in casseroles, veggie hot dogs are a hit with kids, same with vegan mac and cheese, veggie burgers, etc.)

soy milk, almond milk, etc. (try chocolate flavored if she doesn't like plain or vanilla)

tofu, tempeh, edamame (stir fry, scrambled tofu, tempeh burgers, etc.)

nuts (make a trail mix with raisins and chocolate chips)

Yummy indeed, you can also wedge a few raisins in the peanut butter too.
Nutritional Yeast. I swear by it. It has an almost cheesey flavor. I just sprinkle some on pretty much everything.
Thanks for all the suggestions. It's hard to get her to eat much of anything right now, trauma usually makes people want comfort foods so healthy meals are a bit of a challenge.
I'm sorry to hear about the tragedy
Elaine offered some excellent suggestions. My favorite high protein food is Field Roast Celebration Roast. 31g per serving.

Quinoa!
Gardein makes really, really awesome "chicken" nuggets. They make awesome other-stuff too, but for a 5 year old, I'd try those -- I think they're called crispy tenders.
I might go for some morningstar stuff. In my experience, kids like those. I would ask her what she likes. I am assuming she lost or is without a parent currently. Maybe there is something special they used to make that might make her feel better. My mom used to make lemon squares for me.

My kids like smoothies and they can be full of calories and easy to get down.

Yes Yummy!!! I been doing that since I was small.
I agree with the suggestion for Morningstar (or similar) products. Obviously in moderation, but kids love things like that. My personal favorite are the corn dog nuggets

yes, oakblossoms, she lost her parents. her favorites that her mom made were homemade mac and cheese, spaghetti (and I have her mom's spaghetti sauce recipe) and breakfast burritos.
Sorry to hear about the loss!

Suggestions? I'm temped to say get a new doctor, but I should probably know more about the kid first. Why did he recommend more protein? Usually MDs are the last people you want nutritional advice from. I'd recommend reading about the protein myth and the complete protein myth.
