Hi, all. There seem to be quite a few of us new guys in the last few days. I've been a "loose" vegetarian for a few years, eating fish for a while. I went from lacto-ovo to organic lacto-ovo and then several months (6 maybe?) ago I read a book by John Robbins that had info on how bad dairy products are for us, and immediately went to a vegan diet. It's been pretty easy, except that who knew so many products have milk products in them? I guess I'm finding it harder now than when I first started because I get tired of being so vigilant, and I have to admit that I start to wonder if a little milk whey is really that big of a deal.<br><br>
Am looking to expand my horizons in the menu area, so will definitely be checking out the recipes! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/hungry.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":hungry:">

I highly recommend <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vegan With A Vengeance</span> as a cookbook for beginner vegans. The recipes are not that hard, and they are amazing!<br><br><br><br>
