I changed my eating habits in mid January. I moved away from junk foods and started eating a lot of whole, raw foods. Although it would be great to go raw, I don't think I can do it right now. I wanted to modify my eating habits because I wanted to lose 10 pounds - which I did in less then two months. I was still eating chicken at the beginning of my diet and a friend told me a story of how chicken sits in you for days. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it grossed me out to the point of no return. I can no longer eat food without thinking about where it comes from! The times that I "cheat" and snack on processed foods are awful. I end up getting dizzy with a headache. When I'm eating right and drinking a lot of greens I make it through the day without losing energy - it's awesome!
